This is something that does bother me about HypeM, for sure. Maybe it’s the blogs they choose, maybe it’s the audience who listens. But ‘discovery’ isn’t the best on HypeM unless you’re listening to a particular blog you already new about.
This is something that does bother me about some music blogs and people that only go to The Hype Machine for their music digest. I don’t know what else people expect to see every time they log into it. It’s in their fucking name, “HYPEmachine”…if you honestly think that that website is going to bring you the freshest tunes you are sadly mistaken. It’s meant to show you which tracks are being HYPED the most and what HYPED blogs are blogging about.
So why aren’t you searching for fresh tracks and better music elsewhere besides complaining about it?
